Steven Paladino CPA serves as Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President, Director of the Company. He is also a member of our Executive Management Committee. Prior to holding his current position, from 1993 to 2000, Mr. Paladino was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, from 1990 to 1992, he served as Vice President and Treasurer and, from 1987 to 1990, he served as Corporate Controller. Before joining us, Mr. Paladino was employed as a Certified Public Accountant for seven years, most recently with the international accounting firm of BDO Seidman LLP (now known as BDO USA, LLP). Mr. Paladino brings to the Company’s Board of Directors extensive financial, accounting and industry expertise and a strong, credible reputation within the financial industry. Mr. Paladino’s responsibilities with the Company include the corporate oversight and strategic direction of business units as well as direct responsibility for corporate financial services. These corporate financial services include financial reporting, financial planning, treasury, investor relations, internal audit and taxation. Mr. Paladino also has responsibility for Henry Schein Financial Services (which provides financial business solutions to our customers) and also works with the Corporate Business Development Group on mergers and acquisition activities. Mr. Paladino’s skills in corporate finance and accounting, the depth and breadth of his exposure to complex financial issues and his long-standing relationships with the financial community are valued by the Board of Directors.
