Richard Ross Stewart serves as Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Stewart served as President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Aero Energy, a division of GE Energy, and as an officer of General Electric Company, from 1998 until his retirement in 2006. From 1972 to 1998, Mr. Stewart served in various positions at Stewart & Stevenson, including Group President and member of the Board of Directors. He serves as Chairman of the Company’s Audit Committee. Mr. Stewart is also a director and former Chairman of Eagle Materials Inc. and a former director of Exterran Corporation. During a 35-year business career, Mr. Stewart has been the principal executive officer with both operating and financial responsibility for the diesel engine and gas turbine power and service businesses at Stewart & Stevenson and then at GE Aero Energy. Mr. Stewart’s extensive experience in the engine and power products business is valuable to the Board in its oversight of the Company’s distribution and services business and complements the marine transportation and petrochemical industry experience of a number of the Company’s other directors.
