From November 2011 through January 2014, Mr. Altman served as the vice chairman of Qualcomm Incorporated (“Qualcomm”) and a member of Qualcomm’s Executive Committee. Mr. Altman previously served as the president of Qualcomm from July 2005 to November 2011, as Executive Vice President from November 1997 to June 2005 and as President of Qualcomm Technology Licensing from September 1995 to April 2005. Mr. Altman was the chief architect of Qualcomm’s strategy for licensing its broad intellectual property portfolio for wireless communications, which has accelerated the growth of CDMA technology.
